Principal Update: Week 9, Term 2

Kia ora koutou Enner Glynn whanau,

Welcome to Week 9’s Blog!

Room 7

We are very pleased to announce that Mrs Katrina O’Connor and Mrs Suzy Andrew are both going to be working in Room 7 until the end of the year! Many of you will already know both Katrina and Suzy. It will be fabulous to have them both working back here at school until the end of the year!.

Cross Country

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the children during both our School Cross Country and the Inter-School Cross Country. It was great to see so many parents and whanau attending this fabulous event! A special thank you to Riley, Kirsty, Tenielle, our staff, parents and students who helped on the day. Everyone made this a special event!

We would really appreciate some help from whanau. Nigel Hands is snowed under with the new build and alterations and would appreciate any assistance from parents who are handy and happy to help out. Examples of things needed doing are:

  • Rebuilding soccer goal posts

  • Installing new bag shed

  • Astroturf for the pool needs fitting to the concrete seating

Please come and see Nigel if you are able to assist, he would really appreciate any help you're able to offer.

Also any parents who could help with road patrol either in the morning or afternoon, please see Mrs Cross and she will explain what needs doing. She is very aware that there may be times where you may not be able to make it, and she will sort when this happens.

Finally, I hope you have a great week!
