Special Principal Update - Sickness

Writer: John O'ReganJohn O'Regan

Kia ora koutou e te whānau.

We are currently experiencing high cases of staff and students who are māuiui (sick). Currently, relief teacher support is becoming a little difficult. For this reason there are a number of classroom disruptions as we aim to ensure we can have all of the students at school and not cause to much difficulty for working whanau. We sincerely hope that with the long weekend coming up and with having a staff only day on Tuesday, that disruptions will be kept to a minimum and our tangata recover quickly.

In the meantime we ask that you keep sick children at home and we will do our very best to ensure we operate as close to normal as possible. We cannot promise that we will not have to take more desperate measures should this situation worsen. We thank you for your ongoing support.
