This week we just provide some reminders about things; Term dates, our curriculum, finding our policies, concerns and complaints, board elections and getting some support for our calendar fundraiser.

June 15th - Quick Rip Tournament (Yrs 4-6)
June 24th - Matariki Day Holiday
June 30th - Board Meeting
TERM ENDS 8th of July at 3pm
Our curriculum
This has been a bit of work over the last few years. The BIG IDEAs statements can be found on our website. Teachers use these to plan the depth and knowledge/skills to be taught, how these will be assessed, and how to support the students who need help or are excelling. Click this link to find out more. Policy
A reminder that our policy can be found by going to the policy page on our school website. An overview of concerns and complaints is included on this page, or by clicking here, so please refer to this if you wish to raise a concern with someone here (please never raise a concern with a student!). I will provide review details in my next update.
Board elections
These are happening this year and we do need some people to put their name forward. If you are interested, please speak to me or Lisa Charles, and we can chat to you about the work we are doing. We are looking for more diversity on our Board, so if you are keen to support our school and ALL of its students and whanau, let us know.

Calendar Fundraiser
Our wonderful calendar team will not be with us next year as their children move on to the next stage of their formal education. So we need some new folks to take up the mantle. If you are keen, let us know and we can point you in the direction of our current team so you can 'learn the ropes'! :-)
